Citibank
We were asked to help design Citibank's b2b web banking application, Citidirect,
and create an e-commerce information tool, Trade Advisory. We tackled tough usability
issues, information hierarchies, workflow and process definition, brand reinforcement,
data visualization, and language clarity. We researched current front and back office banking
practices, interviewed Citicorp's business teams, and designed a GUI that passed internal usability
testing with great success. We then created working prototypes to reflect workflow and design work.
All aspects of this enormous interface were documented and specified in detail for Citibank's technical development team.
For the Trade Advisory, an online portal to information from diverse third party providers,
we designed the architecture and interface, built prototypes, worked with content provider on
data integration, and developed the content management workflow.
